The Mi-Enterprise Middleware installer's default logging behavior intentionally keeps logs brief, to prevent the user from being swamped with a verbose log during a problem-free installation. However, some installations fail, and for some of those cases, the default log does not provide enough information to diagnose the issue. To obtain more diagnostically relevant information, an installation with verbose logging must be performed. To perform an installation of Mi-Enterprise Middleware with verbose logging, use the command-line option /L*V, which takes as an argument the filepath where logs are to be written, e.g.,

“C:\path\to\Mi-Enterprise Middleware 11.0 Setup.exe” /L*V “C:\path\to\my.log”
