In order to connect Mi-Apps to a server and login, you must have the following information available:

  • Hostname (e.g. apps.mycompany.com)
  • Port (typically 443)
  • Whether SSL is in use (typically On)
  • URL Prefix (typically MFS)
  • Your customer name
  • Your username
  • Your password

If you do not know any of the information above, your Mi-Enterprise Middleware Server administrator should be able to provide it.

Once you have all of this information, you should launch Mi-Apps on your device. You will be presented with a screen that looks similar to this:

Tap the link that states Change Your Server Settings Here. Once you've done so a screen similar to that below will appear:

Enter your hostname, modify the Port, SSL Use, URL Prefix, and Customer Name as needed and then tap the Back link in the top left.

Once you've done so, enter your Username and Password as shown below:

Once you've done so, tap the Login button to proceed.

On subsequent launches of the app, you do not have to revisit the server settings page or re-enter your customer and username. Just enter your password and tap Login.
