*** WARNING*** Following these steps will delete all data from the pen. Any handwriting that has been collected since the pen’s last successful docking will be irreplaceably lost.

Step 1: Take off the pen cap.

Step 2: Press the pen tip on one of the forms with a dot pattern. The lights on the front of the Pen should brighten.

Step 3: While you hold the Pen down, press the reset button on the back of the pen with a paper clip or pencil tip for 20 seconds.

Step 4: Continue pressing the pen to the surface while you remove the paper clip or pencil tip from the reset button. The lights should flash green for 10 to 15 seconds.

Step 5: Hold the pen to the surface for 20 more seconds. The lights should change from green to multicolored.

Step 6: Remove the pen from the surface and wait until the pen vibrates three times to indicate it can be used again. The lights should now be solid green.
