If you are running Windows 8 or 8.1, there may be a need to install previous versions of Mi-Forms to update older forms. Mi-Forms 8 will not automatically install but there is a workaround "trick" to install the application.

You will need to temporarily change a value on your computer's Registry.

To access the registry, from the Start or Apps screen, type Run. At the Run window, type regedit and enter. This should present the computer's Registry with keys and associated values.

Navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\CurrentVersion key.

Change the value to 6.1 and proceed to install Mi-Forms 8.

After Mi-Forms installs, you should change the key back to 6.3
